I grew up in various parts of the United States; Utah, Texas, and Washington D.C. before arriving at Penn State University. Already an avid hiker, it was in State College where I discovered fly fishing and developed a deeper appreciation for being in tune with my local fishery and environment. After graduating with a degree in Economics, I moved to the Pacific Northwest and continued to fish and build a relationship with my new home water. This blog allows me to share and catalog my adventures, experiences, and viewpoints on Economics and the outdoors.
